A strip built kayak for Jos. Design by Bjorn Thomasson. The strips are normally cedar but I am going to use an Australian plantation timber called Paulownia, it’s even lighter in weight and colour. The hull has been painted with 2 pack urethane and the deck dyed with an Aniline dye.
